OUR PROGRAMS
TWOS
The goal of our two’s program is to expose our youngest learners to a collaborative learning environment without the presence or support of their immediate family or caregiver. Children learn to establish trust and connection with other loving adults, to participate in group activities, and begin to foster a developing independence in the world. Our two’s program is rich with hands-on, play-based learning experiences that strive to foster natural curiosity, playfulness and interaction with peers and adults. All curricular objectives and programmatic decisions are made with the support and development of the whole child–physical, emotional, social, intellectual, etc.- in mind.
THREES
Children enrolled in our three’s program will engage in daily routines and creative learning experiences that foster independence, resilience, and academic and social curiosity in a safe and nurturing environment. Children will grow as individuals and as a community through hands-on, interactive, and child-leading learning experiences. Foundational academic skills, early learning routines, and social-emotional growth are bolstered through play, interactive instruction, consistent and familiar routines, modeling and thoughtful classroom planning. Students’ interest often guides inquiries, leading to joyful exploration and discovery.
FOURS
Children in our four’s program continue to build from skills developed through previous classroom exposure. Routines and independence are increasingly important as children learn that they are an important and contributing member of their classroom community and that they take responsibility for their own involvement and actions. Play-based learning continues to be the central tenet of fours classroom learning, providing a myriad of hands-on and interactive experience to engage deeply in early literacy, numeracy, scientific and social concepts. Students collaborate thoughtfully to develop centralized themes of inquiry that are then explored in a variety of multi-dimensional and meaningful ways.
PRE-K/FIVES
Children in our Pre-K/Five's program prepare for life beyond preschool by participating in a school day that progressively matches that which they will engage in once they are in kindergarten. Exploration, inquiry and discovery are guided by the curiosity of the students and enriched through interactive and play-based experiences. Early literacy, writing, mathematical and scientific concepts are explored to lay a strong foundation for learning, giving children a skill set with which they can approach the rest of their educational journey beyond PSGA with confidence. Critical thinking, proactive problem solving, and caring contributions to the community are emphasized as we empower students to be lifelong learners and thoughtful members of their community.
